Primary Role
Candidate will be responsible for comprehensive cradle to grave contract administration. Candidate will independently administer existing contracts and proposal work for new business on existing contracts and task order proposals. Must have extensive experience in administering CPFF, FFP, T&M, & CPAF contract types as well as knowledge relating to GSA Schedules and GWACS. Candidate must have a general understanding of FAR and supplemental agency regulations. Prepare monthly reports associated with 75% completion, “at risk” contracts, and funded backlog.
When required, will assist in the performance of cost and price analysis of subcontractor proposals and assist in the negotiation of subcontractor pricing. Prepare/negotiate task estimates and new contracts. Responsible for the financial accuracy of contracts, which includes knowledge of the Deltek/CostPoint accounting system. Will provide general assistance for special projects and other duties as assigned. Must have the ability to work overtime as required and be multi-task oriented. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required. Candidate will interface with various levels of management, technical staff, and customers.
Required
Education: BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Management preferred.
Experience: Must have 5-7 years of progressive contract administration experience for a full range of service and supply contracts within the Federal Government and commercial arena. Must be proficient with MS Office, (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and DELTEK Costpoint. Must have experience in all areas of Government Contract Administration, GSA Schedules, Contract GWACS. Some subcontract administration experience or concept understanding is a plus
