  • We are currently looking for a Solutions Consultants to join our client’s growing US Cyber team as a Pre-Sales Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

This job has three main roles:

  1. Product Launch Support
    • Work closely with solution teams to drive products and services into the Americas market.  Utilize market awareness and knowledge of customer environments to aid in validating and refining the messaging and value statements.
  2. Technical Account Management
    • As part of the sales engagement, provide technical presales to include client presentations, demos, requirements gathering, solution definition and proposal creation.
  3.  Solution Evaluation Management
    • Organize and manage product evaluations ranging from limited proof of concept to full product evaluations.
    • Coordinate planning, execution and follow up activities both internally and with the client.
    •  In all cases, you would be operating as a subject matter expert, often in front of clients, working closely with other subject matter experts, business representatives and technical representatives from both the Applied Intelligence and the client.

 Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in presales within Cyber Security
  • Strong understanding of what goes to make up ‘information security’ and a familiarity with current trends and recent developments in information security;
  • Experience of launching products in new markets;
  • Proven track record in presales;
  • Working knowledge of broad range of security technologies e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS, malware defenses, protective monitoring;
  • Working knowledge of network security, attacks, exploits and mitigation;
  • Strong knowledge in IP networking and IT architectures;
  • Working knowledge of Big Data platforms and techniques;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Eye for detail and inquisitive attitude;
  • Precision, coherence and conciseness in written outputs;
  • Flexible approach to hours, work location and tasks to meet client needs;
  • BA/BS degree in computer science/computer technology
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
