Position Description

The qualified candidate will support the Director, Geospatial Analysis Operations, Global Analysis, in growing Full Motion Video (FMV) and Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS) analysis business for our client IT organization. Identify, evaluate and develop opportunities for FMV/WAPS business expansion in the intelligence analysis marketplace including but not limited to: 1) National intelligence organizations, 2) Defense (CENTCOM, PACOM, NORTHCOM, SOUTHCOM, SOCOM, NGIC, INSCOM, etc.), 3) the Military Services, 4) Federal Civil (DHS, DOJ, US Secret Service, etc), and 5) State/Local.

Possess deep understanding of intelligence analysis culture and effectively communicate customer initiatives, strategy, and mission needs. Craft pragmatic customer solutions incorporating analytical, teaming, cost and other dimensions within the context of competitive environment to win new business and grow assigned accounts. Leads development of opportunity win strategies.

Lead a matrixed team of functional and support specialists throughout the engagement from qualification through opportunity closure. Work with senior management to balance resource priorities to ensure continual, consistent progress through marketing, solution, staffing, teaming, and pricing elements of the capture plan. Position may require travel.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 – 12 years directly related experience.
  • Bachelors degree related to subject-matter expertise or applicable technical area with significant personal contacts within, and in depth knowledge of, some portion of above-referenced marketplace areas.
  • Qualified candidates should have established relationships with Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) experts and managers.
  • Possess expert knowledge of current and emerging FMV/WAPS analytical concepts, doctrine, and tactics, techniques, and procedures. Should be knowledgeable in intelligence management issues related to all aspects of collection programs, platforms, and sensors, as well as understand the spectrum of management topics related to the command and control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platforms in national and theater airspace.
  • Must be a highly motivated, results-oriented team player, and possess ability to credibly communicate with both customers and team members (oral and written) on mission, analysis and tradecraft issues.
  • Prior experience in managing analytical programs and earlier practical experience as an intelligence analyst either in government contracting or government service. Demonstrated track record of leadership in intelligence analysis

Former military officer with DoD systems acquisition experience.
