Director, Business Development – Army Programs

Primary Role

Establish, maintain, and execute customer account plans. Identify and qualify opportunities using client Systems’ Unified Business Development and Life Cycle Management processes.

Develop resource requests for assigned business development efforts and authorize the use of business development funds once internal funding requests are approved.

Establish and maintain long-term relationships with specific government clients and key technology and service providers. Identify M&A candidates through the development of Stage 0 papers.

Specific job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leadership experience as account executive or BD executive with bids of $50M or more. Knowledge of client programs, initiatives and competitive environment in Information Technology required.
  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) on business and information technology issues.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented and team player. Knowledge of programs within the Army Sector is strongly desirable.

Typical Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of training and experience) plus at least (10) ten years directly related experience including 4 – 6 years of DoD Business Development or Capture experience.
  • United States Citizenship
