Our client is currently recruiting for a senior executive with a strong science or engineering background with a passion for technology and innovation. The candidate must have experience in identifying disruptive technologies and bringing them to life in products and services that are successful in market. This position is located in Alexandria, VA.
Job Description
This is a senior position working directly for the SVP of Corporate Development and with the VP of Sales & Solutions and the Group VP competency leads. As such, we want individuals that are at that level – or operating at such a level in divisions/business units of mid-size to major corporations.
Job Requirements
Experience
Specific skills and traits necessary for this position include:
- Deep science background with an advanced degree as well as experience recruiting, managing, and developing individuals with such a background.
- Experience effectively working from within Corporate Development, across marketing and operations within complex organizations, to bring innovations to market
- Experience with leading/directing technology programs including IR&D
- A passion to think outside the box, challenge conventional wisdom, and the creativity to provide solutions to a variety of problems
