Job Description

Business Process Specialists within our client’s Healthcare & Public Sector, State, Provincial and Local Practice (H&PS)  brings deep industry knowledge and experience related to the skills, structures, tools and support mechanisms needed to transition an organization to a SaaS-based HCM, Finance and/or Student technology solution such as Workday.

A professional at this position level within the company has the following responsibilities: 

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within the company on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
  • Has latitude in decision-making.  Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
  • Manages large – medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within the company.

H&PS State, Provincial and Local Business Process Specialists provide deep business knowledge, architecting value and operating model architecture skills to influence client agendas through business insight. A professional in this position will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of business processes for provincial and local public service and healthcare entities as the organization transitions to a SaaS based HCM, Finance or Student solution. Business Process Specialists should be skilled at project management, process management, client management and business process re-design.

The Health & Public Service Operation Group Serves health organizations, government agencies, institutions and nonprofit organizations worldwide providing a broad range of consulting, technology, system integration and business processing services.  Our client’s Client & Market consulting organization offers a full range of global delivery services-from enterprise solutions, system integration, technical architectures, business intelligence, infrastructure consulting, technology research/development, customer relationship management solutions, finance and performance management, human capital management, human resources transformation, supply chain management, and strategic business analysis.

Responsibilities of the Health& Public Service State, Provincial and Local Business Process Specialist may include: 

  • Work directly with clients to implement, support and integrate SaaS based solutions into their business environments through leading business process design and implementation.
  • Provide delivery support for SaaS based solutions to our clients
  • Closely follow the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.  Manage teams and/or work efforts at a client or within the company.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Health or Public Service
  • Minimum of 2+ years demonstrated implementation/change management/training experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years prior consulting experience
  • Ability to travel up to 100%

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience working with Health, Education, State or Federal entities
  • Workday PM, HCM, Finance, or Student experience
  • Previous experience with a large professional service organization
  • Strong interest in collaborative work with Health, Education State and/or Federal clients
