Our client is a major Defense firm with over $34B in revenues. Our client’s Electronics, Intelligence, and Support (EIS) Division ($8.2B revenues) is one of the largest providers to the U.S. Government. As a full-service solutions provider, our clients programs enable the mission and span the life cycle by providing capabilities that support: Enterprise Architecture; Network Systems Management; Information Delivery; Mission Specific Applications Development; Managed IT; and Mission Critical Intelligence Analysis.

Position Description

The qualified candidate will support the Vice President, Business Development for National Intelligence Solutions and Global Analysis in growing analysis business for the company’s IT Division as well as overseeing the development and maintenance of long-term relationships with key customer agencies in coordination with the Vice President for Global Analysis.

Identify, evaluate and approve opportunities for business expansion in the outsourced intelligence analysis marketplace including but not limited to: 1) National intelligence organizations, 2) Defense (CENTCOM, PACOM, NORTHCOM, SOUTHCOM, SOCOM, NGIC, INSCOM, etc.), 3) Federal Civil (DHS, DOJ, US Secret Service, etc), and 4) State/Local. Manage and build long term strategic pipeline throughout the business acquisition cycle.

Possess deep understanding of intelligence analysis culture and effectively communicate customer initiatives, strategy, and mission needs. Craft pragmatic customer solutions incorporating analytical, teaming, cost and other dimensions within the context of competitive environment to win new business and grow assigned accounts. Develop specific account and bid strategies while maintaining detailed account plans classified as appropriate and dependent on the customer.


  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years directly related experience.
  • Bachelors degree related to subject-matter expertise or applicable technical area with significant personal contacts within, and in depth knowledge of, some portion of above-referenced marketplace areas.
  • Must be a highly motivated, results-oriented team player, and possess ability to credibly communicate with both customers and team members (oral and written) on mission, analysis and tradecraft issues.
  • Prior experience in managing analytical programs and earlier practical experience as an intelligence analyst either in government contracting or government service.
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership in Business Development including successful development and implementation of account plans.
